Adam Corley, MD

Dr. Adam Corley is a residency trained and board certified emergency physician. He did his undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Arlington and holds an MD from McGovern Medical School in Houston. He did his residency in emergency medicine at UT Houston where he served as the chief resident. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He currently has a diverse practice including family medicine, emergency medicine, EMS, administrative medicine and consulting. He is excited to work with IHC, Scully, and the entire crew and community.

Kevin Scully, PA-C, MPAS

Scully completed his physician assistant training at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, a Master’s Degree at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Texas System. He maintains specialization in Emergency Medicine and Surgery and has nearly 30 years of clinical experience. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth. PA Scully is a highly decorated, retired Air Force Colonel with numerous combat deployments. He was extensively involved in the military humanitarian efforts for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Jeff Klingler, LVN, BBA

Jeff received his nursing training at Trinity Valley Community College Health Science Center in Kaufman, TX in 2011. He was nominated by his LVN class to receive the Florence Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing. This award recognizes outstanding nurses who go above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care. His passion for service is recognized daily as he cares for patients at IHC. Jeff’s nursing experience has been focused exclusively in the areas of family practice and urgent care. Before embarking on his nursing career, Jeff graduated magna cum laude from University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Jeff also proudly served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer with the 612th Engineer Battalion.

Heather Poole, LVN, BA

In 2015, Heather received her Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) degree from Galen College of Nursing - San Antonio. Her specialized medical knowledge includes emergency care, allergy and ENT, geriatrics, and family practice. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Houston where her studies focused on Veteran identities as they traverse through society. Heather also served as a combat medic in the United States Army with the 75th Field Artillery Brigade in Fort Sill Oklahoma. While in Afghanistan she was a conceptual designer of NATO curriculum focused on stabilizing the Afghan National Army’s medical support and combat medic training programs. Heather enjoys volunteering and is a child advocate with CASA for Kids of East Texas and a community advisor for TAG- Tyler.

Cari Harshman
Medical Scribe 


At IHC, Cari utilizes her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and previous experience as a medical scribe for Hospitality Health ER. Her role allows our clinicians more time to focus directly on you, the patient. Cari distills patient medical information into an electronic health record in real time during your appointment. Her role at IHC supports our continued focus on quality time and care for our patients. In her spare time, Cari loves to read and enjoys supporting her daughters participation in competitive sports. She aspires to attend medical school in the future. 

MaryEllen McCloskey
Office Manager 

MaryEllen has 30 years’ experience in medical management and remains steadfast and diligent in serving our community in both corporate and private medical practices. She is dedicated to utilizing her clinical knowledge and customer service mindset to strengthen IHC’s commitment to outstanding medical care and exceptional patient experiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College; and Medical Technology (ASCP/SBB) certification from Allegheny General Hospital and University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. Outside of work, MaryEllen and her husband, Tom, enjoy spin class, reading, and walking.

Rachel Patrick
Front Office Assistant

Rachel is a born and bred Hoosier (hailing from Indiana). She moved to Tyler in 2019 to further her aspirations of public service. Rachel has specialized medical administrative training related to insurance authorizations and referrals. She enjoys meeting IHC patients, getting to know them, and ensuring they feel like “part of the IHC family”. She is CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. In her free time, Rachel loves to attend church, play softball, go camping, and participate in water sports.
